I’ve read the news articles on Melissa Daute, who was arrested and charged with a number of drug charges. One of which is an automatic felony.
These are serious, my observation after reading the news reports raise a critical question, Was there probable cause to search the alleged defendants vehicle and did the defendant give the Sheriff permission to search her vehicle.
What are the factors that were left out of the criminal report??? The news article does make it seem in my perception that civil rights were violated, along with improper protocol. My opinion from reading the many news articles.
