Bond of $50,000 remains for incest suspect in La Crosse

A 36-year-old sex offender remains in the La Crosse jail under $50,000 bond, after a court appearance Wednesday on new charges.

The La Crosse man is accused of six criminal counts, including incest involving two children under 16.

We have chosen not to report the name of the suspect, to avoid identifying the victims.

The children reported multiple instances of the man having sexual contact with them.

In 2009, the same man pleaded guilty in La Crosse County to sexual assault of a child, in a case that happened when he was a teenager.

Online records indicate that he was registered as a sex offender in Wisconsin at least two years ago.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
