Winona fire death leads to murder charges
When the body of a man was found in a burning house last March in Winona, investigators immediately thought the fire was suspicious.
Now, five months later, a 32-year-old Winona man, who was arrested after that March 25 incident, is now being charged with that fire-related death of 55-year-old David John Seaman.
Steven Miller is scheduled for a court appearance Wednesday on new charges of 2nd degree murder and arson.
Miller has been in the Winona jail since the day after the fire on East Sanborn Street.
He’s already charged with burglary at a dwelling and indecent exposure.
