A $1,000 donation from Vivial has an Onalaska business dancing with joy.

Vivial, an online marketing agency, made the donation to Misty’s Dance Unlimited’s Chance to Dance Foundation. Founder Misty Lown said the program allows youth of all abilities to participate in the arts.

“Yes, there is an absolute joy to watch a child experience dance,”Lown said, “but for me, the best part is watching a parent watch a child participate in a mainstream dance class environment and watch their child take the stage with every other kid.”

Lown added that they typically have 25 students with special needs participate each year.

The organization also offers scholarships for hopeful dancers in La Crosse County Foster Care and the Boys and Girls Club.

The dance studio is entering its 22nd season of dance in Onalaska.
