Onalaska man identified as victim of fatal stabbing in West Allis

A 33-year-old Onalaska man has been stabbed to death in a Milwaukee-area fight.

Officers were called about the stabbing just before 2 a.m. Sunday. Despite lifesaving efforts by police and firefighters, the man died.

Investigators say the stabbing followed a confrontation between two groups, and appears to be an isolated incident.

No arrests were made, as suspects left the scene before police arrived.

Authorities have not released his name.
