When a La Crosse man gave his landlord cash for the rent one day, and then gave him more cash the next day, the landlord reportedly became suspicious.

Turned out that the first cash was phony.  Renter Cameron Coleman gave La Crosse police permission to search his room at the Affordable Inn, and they found that Coleman has been printing counterfeit money in the room.

Hundreds of dollars in fake bills were found around the room and in a safe, along with dozens of baggies of meth.

Coleman was convicted twice in La Crosse County during 2017 for possessing meth.
