La Crosse Police were busy this weekend with Oktoberfest revelers, many of them college aged.

Cops issued 146 underage drinking citations, 26 open container violations, 21 public urination violations and 16 disorderly conduct tickets.

Some incidents included four college aged students punching out a window at Twisted Moose, a man being pummeled in the bathroom of Brother’s Bar and robbed of $30, a 20 year old man stealing an axe from Driftless Axe and later threatening his ex step-father, as well as a man who drew attention to himself by launching an emergency flare into the air, which resulted in an underage drinking citation.

Five people were charged with OWI.
