A La Crosse man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child.
Joseph Marks was found guilty by a jury in Barron County on two counts–child sexual assault, and exposing genitals to a child.
Marks formerly lived in Cumberland, and the charges were filed in April of last year.
The 33-year-old Marks has a previous conviction in La Crosse County in 2008 for sexually assaulting a child, and was given probation in that case.
He’ll be sentenced for the Barron County case in December, and faces a possible 63 years in prison.
