A 55-year-old man from Holmen is scheduled for trial on sexual assault charges this week, nearly four years after the charges were filed against him.

The suspect’s name is not being used, because the case reportedly involves incest with a young boy related to him.

The child, who was 7 when the case was filed in December of 2015, claimed that the man touched him on more than one occasion and also talked to him about sex.

The trial, which originally was scheduled for May of 2016, is expected to last two days.
