Mississippi dropping throughout region
Just about anywhere you go on the Upper Mississippi, the river levels are finally going down.
In La Crosse, the river is at 11.5 feet this morning, following a crest of 11.8 on Friday, just below flood stage.
It should be down to 11 feet by next Sunday.
The water is now below flood stage at Genoa as well.
Although the Mississippi at McGregor is still above the 16 foot flood stage, the water should fall below 16 feet by Friday.
