MVC teams receiving votes in latest AP high school football rankings, as regular-season ends Friday

The Coulee Region is well represented in the latest high school football AP rankings.

In the large division, meaning schools with an enrollment of 900 or higher, Holmen and Onalaska are receiving votes and are just outside the Top 10.

Those two teams meet with MVC title implications Friday. The game will be broadcasted on WKTY 96.7 FM / 580 AM beginning at 6:50 p.m.

In the medium division, Sparta (7-1), also in the MVC, is receiving votes.

Finally, in the small division, undefeated Bangor (7-0) is ranked third.

This is the last week of the season. Coaches will meet to seed the teams on Saturday before the playoffs begin.
