A La Crosse woman who served prison time for a drug-related death is back in jail for violating her probation.

Christina Lorenz was booked in the La Crosse County jail on Wednesday.

Lorenz spent about three years in prison after being convicted of reckless homicide in the August 2011 overdose death of Tony DuCharme.

She and DuCharme smoked a fentanyl patch along with a third person, after which DuCharme died in his sleep.

The man’s body was later discovered on a hillside near a La Crosse park.

Lorenz was ordered to be on supervision for nine years following her release from prison.
