Drug repeater from Onalaska gets federal charges for dealing meth
An Onalaska man arrested this fall in a meth case is now facing federal charges.
Eric Sobek could get up to 40 years in federal prison, or a minimum of 5 years, if he’s convicted of meth possession.
Sobek has eight open cases in La Crosse County court, dating back to April of last year, and he’s scheduled for a December trial on this latest charge.
Police found more than 200 grams of meth, a switchblade, and $1500 in cash in September during a search after spotting Sobek at a motel.
