The mystery of a body found this summer in an Onalaska storage unit has been partially solved.

We now know the name and age of the man who was discovered: Steven Tabbert, 61 years old, of the La Crosse area.

La Crosse County medical examiner Tim Candahl says Tabbert probably died in May, three months before he was found on August 29th in the unit near County Road PH.

Although the death originally was considered suspicious because of where Tabbert was found, Candahl now says foul play was not involved.

No official cause of death has been declared.
