Who’s been sleeping in my bed? Intruder brought to court
A La Crosse man is caught sleeping in an apartment that he had broken into.
Twenty-five-year-old Shakur Clayton is accused of trespassing for entering a duplex on South 6th Street in La Crosse last Friday, and going to sleep in the bedroom.
Prosecutor Melissa Inlow says Clayton now has five open criminal files in the local courts, and she says Clayton “just can’t seem to stay out of places he does not belong.”
Clayton’s bond was set at $200 cash.
