Oshkosh area man charged in La Crosse with strangling and weapon crimes
An Oshkosh area man is jailed in La Crosse for allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend and threatening her with a gun.
Bond is set at $10,000 cash for Thaddius Ledford of Winnebago.
A La Crosse woman accused Ledford of choking her and pointing a gun to her head, during a fight that occurred Saturday.
She said Ledford admitted to giving drugs to a La Crosse area man, just before that man died.
Ledford allegedly made threatening statements to the woman, such as, “Call the cops, you’ll be in a body bag,” and, “You just caused a lot of problems for yourself.”
The victim also claimed Ledford is a cousin of Shavonte Thompson, who’s wanted for murder in a Nov. 2 shooting death in north La Crosse.
