BOSCOBEL POLICE: Man in van approached girl waiting for school bus
The Boscobel Police Department encouraged parents to stay vigilant and warn their children of getting into vehicles with strangers following an incident Tuesday.
Police said a young girl was confronted by a man while waiting for the school bus in the Warah St.-Hummel Ave. area.
According to the girl, a white male driving a white van stopped and asked her if she wanted a ride. The girl told him, “No,” twice, and he left.
The driver was described as having a lot of scars on the left side of his face. The rear window of the van was said to have spray paint covering it.
Police ask people to report these incidents when they occur.
