A driver from La Crosse is facing a long list of charges, after leading a sheriff’s deputy on a weekend chase through Jackson County.

Chue Xiong was stopped after a Saturday morning pursuit at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

The 31-year-old reportedly had been parked along a state highway near Melrose, Wis., when a deputy approached the car.

That’s when a passenger got out, and the car took off.

Spike strips were needed to stop Xiong, who was also arrested last month in La Crosse County on a charge of resisting an officer.

Xiong is scheduled to appear before a Jackson County judge on March 23.
