Uncle Sam wants you — to count your neighbors.
The Census Bureau needs to about 12,000 people in Wisconsin to conduct the 2020 census during the spring.
Census recruiters are going around the state this week, talking with potential census takers.
They’ll be in La Crosse from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Public Library on Main Street, for a recruiting session.
Census workers have to be at least 18 years old, and they can earn between $17-24 an hour.
