Trial set for next February in abuse death 3-year-old Tomah boy
A jury trial is scheduled a year from now in Monroe County for a Tomah man accused in the death of a 3-year-old boy.
Two weeks have been set aside, starting Feb. 16 of 2021, for the Marcus Anderson trial.
Anderson was arrested last May, after Kyson Rice died at the Tomah hospital.
The 35-year-old Anderson had been taking care of Kyson when he stopped breathing.
He claimed to have hit the boy while performing CPR, but an autopsy showed the boy had several injuries to his body.
Anderson is facing a total of 13 charges, including 1st degree murder.
He pleaded not guilty in December.
