Police still want to find Rudy’s attacker

Five months after a man was attacked at a local drive-in, La Crosse police are still asking for the public’s help in finding the attacker. 

Sergeant Tom Walsh with La Crosse’s Crime-Stoppers program says 21-year-old Gerald Pemberton is still high on their wanted list.    

Security video from Rudy’s helped police identify Pemberton as the suspect who punched restaurant employee Jim Davenport in the face last September. 

An arrest warrant was issued for Pemberton in early October, on charges of battery and disorderly conduct.    

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.

    Continue to post on local social media sites about the incident and post a reward for information leading to his arrest. Hopefully you guys catch this bastard soon.
