C-FC school worker fired over nude photo accusations

The Buffalo County woman recently charged with exposing herself to a public school student has been fired by the Cochrane-Fountain City schools. 

Heather Treague of Cochrane is facing criminal charges of sending pictures of her breasts to a male student, who reportedly also sent a picture of his genitals to her. 

The C-FC district announced Treague’s termination Thursday.

In a written statement, Superintendent Michele Butler said Treague “is not permitted on school district grounds or to have contact with any students.”

Treague had been working on the school district staff, reportedly as a kitchen employee.  

She has a hearing in the case in Buffalo County Court on March 4th.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
