One year of Detroit flights has worked for La Crosse
The La Crosse airport is marking an anniversary this week, of one year since beginning regular Delta Airlines service between La Crosse and Detroit.
When those daily trips began on March 1st of 2019, airport marketing manager Miranda TerBeest said La Crosse would have about a year to prove that there was enough local demand for the Detroit service.
She says the numbers have been good so far, and that success has led airport staffers to look into adding other routes in the near future.
Regular flights to and from Detroit had been on the La Crosse schedule years ago, but were discontinued until the current Delta contract.
