Music festival in La Crosse moved from May to September

A popular music festival in the area is going to feature concerts during the spring and late summer this year. 

The Midwest Music Festival will be held again in May in Winona, but the La Crosse weekend of the event is being rescheduled to September. 

Both cities had concert performances during May of 2019. 

This will be the 5th year that La Crosse is included in the event, which features dozens of musical performers at several venues.  

The city arts board is considering a possible $1000 grant to the festival.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
