La Crosse City Hall working on response to coronavirus
The city of La Crosse is still working on ways to deal with the coronavirus.
On Thursday night, Mayor Tim Kabat told the city council that information related to the illness is being made available to the public, and more information is expected Friday from the city’s two hospitals.
Kabat says arrangements could be made for city staff members to stay at home, and some of the decisions may depend on whether the La Crosse school district cuts back on classes.
This week, UW-La Crosse announced that it will conduct classes on-line following next week’s spring break
In council business, decisions on sewer agreements with other communities and a rezoning of the old Trane Plant 6 site on George Street were postponed for more study.
