Spring break has just gotten longer for one area college.

Winona State University has been on break this week, but the school is taking next week off, too.

While there won’t be any new classes at WSU until March 23rd, faculty members will still report to work as planned on Monday.

They’re being told to spend the next week working on ‘alternative delivery modes’ for classes.

Winona State also has suspended school-related travel out of state, and campus gatherings and events where more than 100 people are expected are cancelled, through May 1st.
