Mayo Clinic has put new schedules in place at southern Wisconsin locations, including La Crosse, because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Visiting hours at Mayo hospitals in the region began Sunday, and will run from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be screening at an entry point for most of those hours.

Patients will be restricted to just one visitor during the time they are in the hospital, and they will have to identify the ‘designated visitor.’

Other people who wish to contact a patient will have to call on the phone or use the internet.
