No new cases again in La Crosse County, while state’s death toll grew by 16

For the fourth consecutive day, La Crosse County has no new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The total remains at 26 with 17 having recovered. One of those 26 is in the hospital. Nobody has died.

The death toll in Wisconsin increased by 16 to 170 on Tuesday. Cases increased by 127 and are now at 3,555, while hospitalizations grew by 56 and are now at 1,058.

Milwaukee’s death toll increased by one to 91, while the case count increased by 51 to 1,865. Dane County increased by six cases to 346. It has 13 total deaths.

Vernon County still has zero cases, while Trempealeau County remained at one.

Minnesota saw its death toll increase by nine to 79. Cases increased by 45 to 1,695, including 20 more to the 177 total hospitalizations — 75 in the ICU.

Winona County remains at 30 cases and six deaths. Houston County still only has one case.

The death toll in the U.S. is now 25,603, from the 609,061 confirmed cases. Worldwide, there have been 125,123 deaths and 1,956,077 cases.
