A Hillsboro man could reach a plea agreement this summer on charges of beating his roommate, and hitting him in the head with a TV set.

A plea hearing is scheduled in Juneau County Court on July 9th for 21-year-old Trenton Clark.

In March, Clark allegedly started beating his roommate at their house in Hillsboro, reportedly because he thought the other man had stolen $1200 and whiskey from him.

The victim says Clark would not let him out of the house, and then broke the TV over his head.

The man had multiple injuries, including a broken eye socket and a broken nose.

Clark could get 12 years in prison on charges of substantial battery and endangering safety.
