Body found outside Sparta supermarket
Sparta police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found Sunday afternoon outside a supermarket.
Officers and an ambulance were dispatched to Hansen’s IGA on Wisconsin St. in Sparta, after a body was discovered under a semi near the store’s loading dock.
Police say there was no sign of foul play, and an autopsy is expected.
The person was not an employee of the grocery store.
