Tillman has been hospitalized in intensive care, with a bullet wound near his spine, and he may be paralyzed.

Wilson is suspected of shooting Tillman outside a house on 5th Avenue South, following an argument.

Police say Brenda Jackson, better known as “Peaches,” was at the scene of the shooting, and said she tried to wrestle the gun away from Wilson.

The DA’s office also is charging three people with drug possession and trafficking.

Brothers Derrick and Darren Engen and Rachel Brockway were arrested Tuesday after a police search of their home on Stoddard Street.

The arrests followed information that somebody allegedly stole guns in Juneau County, and brought them to La Crosse to be exchanged for drugs.

Police believe the suspects gave drugs to customers from out of town, in exchange for stolen guns and bicycles.
