Teenager one of two new cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse County, which has had nine cases the past three days
There were two more cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse County on Thursday.
One is a male in his teens, while the other is a woman in her 40s.
The county has had at least one new case six consecutive days, including nine in the past three days. La Crosse has had 65 total cases, with 51 considered recovered. Nobody is hospitalized.
Trempealeau County also added two new cases and is up to 33 cases now with 19 considered recovered. No other counties in the area reported cases.

Wisconsin: 19,892 cases, 626 deaths
Minnesota: 26,273 cases, 1,115 deaths
Iowa: 20,806 cases, 583 deaths
Statewide, Wisconsin reported 10 deaths and 492 more cases today.
In Minnesota, there were 404 new cases and 29 deaths. The state has had 29 or more deaths five of the past nine days, and hasn’t had a single-digit death total since May 18. Before that, it was May 4 in the single digits.
Comparatively, Wisconsin has had 13 double-digit deaths in a day since May 4.
Iowa had 14 deaths and 694 cases in a 24-hour period beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. That’s a jump of 634 new cases from the 60 that were reported the 24 hours before that. The state doesn’t report a daily case/death count like Minnesota and Wisconsin, instead opting to update its stats in real time.
Worldwide, there are almost 6.6 million cases and over 388,600 deaths from the virus, according to John Hopkins University data. The U.S. has 28 percent of the world’s cases and deaths. Here’s a look at the countries with the most in each category.
