One Wisconsin Senator says Washington should be doing more to fight the coronavirus.

Democrat Tammy Baldwin faults the Trump White House for failing to help America keep up with necessary medical supplies.

“You look at what we’re gonna need, you look at what we have, and then you close that gap by helping domestically produce those things,” said Baldwin during an internet town meeting on Monday night.

Sen. Baldwin criticized the president for telling individual states that they should be responsible for dealing with the pandemic.

“All of this shouldn’t have even been necessary,” she says, “because it’s what our president should have done as a leader who wanted to promote health and safety.”
