Kruse named interim CEO of La Crosse Chamber
A long-time hospital administrator in La Crosse will be in charge of the local Chamber of Commerce, while it searches for a new director.
Joe Kruse has been named the interim CEO of the Chamber.
Director Vicki Markussen announced her resignation last week, saying she’s looking into ‘other options.’
Kruse says he expects to serve about 3 months, and is not interested in applying for the full-time job.
He retired in 2018, after almost 35 years with Mayo and Franciscan Health in La Crosse.
Kruse served as Festmaster during the 2016 Oktoberfest.
