Viterbo announces plans for fall classes
On-campus classes this fall at Viterbo in La Crosse are scheduled to start on time–August 31st, as previously announced.
But changes are being made on campus to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Masks will be required in most locations, there will be plastic shields throughout the campus, and class sizes will be kept low to allow social distancing.
Population density in the residence halls will be reduced.
And Viterbo sports teams will have shorter schedules than usual in the fall.
Viterbo president Glena Temple says most classes on campus will have fewer than 30 students, and there will be frequent testing for COVID-19.
Viterbo plans to stick to the original fall schedule, from August 31st to just before Christmas.
