La Crosse County sets new daily record for COVID

Another daily record for COVID cases in La Crosse County. 

Twenty-seven new cases were reported on Friday. 

That makes 11 days in a row where the county has had at least 20 new cases in a single day. 

The total of cases in the county is now 384, with 329 of them reported just in the month of June.   

Wisconsin reported 520 new cases on Friday, with 230 of them among people in their 20’s.

Almost 500 new cases of COVID-19 are reported in Minnesota. 

The number of daily cases was 498, up more than 100 from Thursday’s figure. 

That includes 3 new cases in Winona County, and 1 new case each in Houston and Fillmore Counties. 

Only 5 new deaths were recorded Friday, marking two full weeks since Minnesota has had 20 or more COVID deaths in a single day.
