There’s no new lawyer yet to represent one suspect in a La Crosse murder.

Shavonte Thompson is still without an attorney, a month after his last attorney withdrew from the case.

Thompson is charged with shooting an 18-year-old, Javier Hall, in an alley late at night last fall.

Thompson and his cousin, Odell Thompson, both face murder charges for the death of Hall, allegedly following a feud between the two families.

No trial date has been set for either man yet.

Police say Odell Thompson drove Shavonte and others to the scene of the shooting on November 2nd.

Shavonte Thompson was arrested in Illinois weeks after shooting, and is being held at a Dodge, Wisconsin prison.
