The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office had a surprise visitor slide into a traffic stop over the weekend.

A deputy found a snake on the hood of his squad car that snuck back into its newfound home when the officer tried to remove it. The deputy returned back to the Sheriff’s Office where both he and a patrol sergeant could not charm the snake into leaving.

Fortunately, a female corrections officer came to their rescue and removed the ride-along. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office released the full report on Facebook Monday.
