Vodka Sauce Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 6 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 1-28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1-28 oz can whole peeled tomatoes 
  • 1/4 package of fresh spinach 
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1 medium container of ricotta
  • 1/2 cup of vodka
  • 1/3 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream or half and half 
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 finely chopped shallot 
  • 1 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 chicken breasts (cooked)
