Two arrested in West Allis for stabbing of Onalaska man

Arrests have been made in the death of an Onalaska man who was killed during a fight in West Allis. 

Police are not yet naming the man and woman who were taken into custody this week. 

Ryan Sorensen of Onalaska was stabbed to death in West Allis on September 15th, during a fight between a group Sorensen was with and a second group of people they didn’t know. 

A security video showed a man and woman riding mountain bikes in that area before and after the murder.  

Shortly after Sorensen’s death, a deputy police chief said theft and robbery did not seem to be motives for the stabbing.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
