A day after setting a COVID-19 daily case record, Wisconsin added another 922 Sunday.

The state saw 36 more hospitalizations and one death, after seeing a daily record 1,062 cases, 13 deaths Saturday.

Counties are no longer reporting weekend data, for the most part.

Minnesota added 769 cases, 33 hospitalizations and eight deaths Sunday. The state has had single-digit deaths every day since July 2.

With cases in both states over 700, here’s a comparison to what steps another country is doing with a surge in cases: News broke Sunday Australia’s second-largest state, Victoria, shut down with a nightly curfew and banned essentially all trips outdoors, after recording 671 cases, seven deaths.

Wisconsin averaged 843.1 cases and five deaths a day in July.

The U.S. has averaged 61,815 cases the past seven days.
