The La Crosse County Health Department will have a public briefing at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Along with health director Jen Rombalski, doctors from both Mayo and Gundersen will be in on the video call, along with La Crosse County administrator Steve O’Malley.
What’s likely to be most discussed is news the county will no longer be updating the COVID compass, and what may possibly replace it.
The “reinfection” case reported Tuesday could also possibly come up. Media will be answering questions after the initial discussion by the panel.
