First Art Market comes to La Crosse Saturday

More than 10 artists are preparing for the first Saturday Art Market in La Crosse.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the Main Street Plaza. Executive Director of Downtown Mainstreet Inc. and member of the La Crosse Arts Board Robin Moses said they decided to push forward with the idea because the Health Department said the community is no longer at the highest risk for COVID-19.

The project will coincide with Saturday’s Downtown Sidewalk Sales.

“We do have additional people that are already downtown looking on the sidewalks, so I think it would be a nice tie in.” Moses said.

They are working with the health department to ensure proper precautions are made. Masks are required, and there will be a sanitation station.
