Girl aged 4-9 is one of nine COVID-19 cases Thursday in La Crosse County

Of the nine confirmed cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse County on Thursday, one was a girl aged 4-9 years old.


The health department will have a public briefing at noon today.

It is likely to announce a replacement for the COVID-19 compass that was ended last week


The county added one more to its total hospitalizations, bringing it to 41. There are currently six residents hospitalized.

La Crosse County has a total of 948 cases, including 128 still active.

The health department also announced three more free National Guard testing sites over the next three Mondays. Check out more info on that, here.

In surrounding counties, Trempealeau added five cases to its now 364 total with 56 active, including two county residents in the hospital.

Monroe is at 245 total cases, adding one Thursday and now has 13 active with one resident currently in the hospital.

Winona added one new case and is now at 266.

Houston County added one case and is now at 45 total with six still active but none hospitalized.

Vernon added two cases and is now at 69 total with seven active but none hospitalized.

Wisconsin: 63,206 cases, 5,170 hospitalizations, 1,018 deaths
Minnesota: 62,993 cases, 5,742 hospitalizations, 1,685 deaths
Iowa: 50,681 cases, 964 deaths


Statewide, Wisconsin added 943 cases, 45 hospitalizations and seven deaths.

Minnesota added 697 cases, 31 hospitalizations and seven deaths.

Iowa’s dashboard shows an additional 679 confirmed cases and 10 deaths in a 24-hour period. The state does not report daily case stats.
