Suspects in Mississippi Street shooting arrested in La Crosse

Three men are now facing charges resulting from a shooting incident in south La Crosse this week. 

Clopton

The men are accused of firing shots at houses in the 500 block of Mississippi Street late Monday night. 

Bullet holes were discovered at two houses in the area. 

Jones

A Dodge Caravan seen in the area during the shooting was stopped the next day on Rose Street, and the three suspects were arrested. 

Reginald Clopton of La Crosse and Keith Jones of Chicago remain in the county jail, on weapon and drug charges. 

A third suspect, Antwan Taylor, has been released. 

A handgun, drugs, and spent shell casings were found in a search of the van.
