UW-L professor critical of Trump response to COVID-19

A group of Wisconsin mothers says the lives of voters in the state depend on supporting Democrat Joe Biden for president.

The group includes a La Crosse college professor, Laurie Cooper Stoll.

During a press Wednesday conference sponsored by Wisconsin Democrats, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse professor said enrollment in her fall sociology classes has dropped because of COVID-19.

Cooper Stoll said many students are opting out of her classes for now, and some of them may not have access to the internet to be able to take online instruction.

The participants in the media call were all mothers of school-age children — two of them, candidates for the Wisconsin legislature.

The Democratic Party claims the Trump response to the virus has “ruined” the college experience of many students.

Cooper Stoll pointed out that La Crosse is considered one of the nationwide hot spots for COVID by the New York Times.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.     We should start taxing the university if they are going to be involved in politics. That’s what you said about Father Altman right you democ-rat lunatics?
