Not long after President Donald Trump’s cancellation of his La Crosse rally Saturday, his campaign page has listed a new location.

Mayor Tim Kabat will be on WIZM 1410 AM / 92.3 FM after 5 p.m. today to talk about the La Crosse cancellation, which was due to a contract issue, not the virus.

Trump will be landing at the Janesville Regional Airport to speak at 3:30 p.m. — the same time he would have landed Saturday at the La Crosse Regional Airport.

Gates open at 12:30 p.m. for the MAGA rally, according to the campaign.

Trump still plans to hold an event in Green Bay at 6:30 p.m., despite officials asking to reconsider because of the city’s even higher rate of infection.

As soon as Trump announced the new rally in Janesville, county officials there asked him to cancel it, the Green Bay Press Gazette reported.
