A Bangor man pleads ‘not guilty’ to choking a woman who came to his house this summer.

Jonathan Baum was charged in July with punching the woman and choking her.

The victim told police that Baum threatened to put her in the trunk of his car, but Baum claims the woman attacked him.

He’s also accused of attempting to choke the same victim back in May.

Baum had failed to appear for a court hearing last month, and was arrested a few days later.

Also in court on Friday, a La Crosse drug suspect is still looking for a defense lawyer, to represent him on cases dating back several months.

Joshua Kletzke is being given another two weeks to find an attorney, and is ordered to return to court on October 16th.

Kletzke is accused of armed robbery, drug trafficking, and fleeing police.

In June, Kletzke was arrested after a police chase through La Crosse.

He was wanted on a warrant for allegedly leaving a bag of meth behind at a French Island motel.
