A mother and her 5-month old daughter were unharmed, after a multiple-rollover crash early Monday.

The 30-year-old mother, a Gays Mills, Wis., native, said she fell asleep at the wheel just after midnight, as she was headed east on Highway 14, near Offerdahl Road in the Town of Franklin.

That’s when her minivan rolled several times before coming to rest in the eastbound lane.

The Vernon County Sheriff’s office said mom had on her seatbelt and daughter was secured in a rear-facing child seat.

There is now word in the report of alcohol, drug use or another reason why the woman may have fell asleep but it does say the incident remains under investigation.

Hey Rick, Should it say “no word in the report of alcohol, drug use….” instead of “now word”. That is a big difference. Thanks
