Mayo back to “no visitors” at La Crosse area hospitals
Mayo is going back to a ‘no visitor’ policy at La Crosse area hospitals, after the latest COVID-19 surge in the region.
The new rules take effect Wednesday morning at the hospitals, and Monday at outpatient clinics.
Some exceptions will be made, such as in the emergency departments and for end-of-life care.
The restrictions will affect Mayo facilities in a wide area including Arcadia, Tomah, Prairie du Chien, and Caledonia.
The no-patient policy was in place for several weeks during the spring, and ended June 1st.
